What is Ruqyah?
Ruqyah is a term used in Islamic tradition to refer to spiritual healing and protection through the recitation of specific verses from the Quran and supplications (duas). It involves the recitation of sacred words, verses, and prayers to seek Allah’s blessings, healing, and protection from various forms of spiritual and physical ailments.
The practice of Ruqyah is based on the belief that the Quranic verses contain healing power and can ward off negative energies and influences.
Ruqyah is often performed by qualified individuals who are well-versed in Islamic teachings and have a deep understanding of the Quran.
These individuals are known as “Ruqyah practitioners” or “Ruqyah healers.” They recite specific verses from the Quran, including Surah Al-Fatiha (the opening chapter) and various other verses that are believed to have protective and healing qualities.
